Adding Google Analytics to your Page/Event/Profile

We often get asked the question on if Google Analytics can be added to your website.  The answer is yes, with a little work on your end!

Google analytics is the most used analytic tracking system on the web and can give many more details than the RunnerSpace statistics such as page views, visitor numbers, time on site, location, sources, etc.

As of now, you will need to work with us to get the code in place.  This is not something you can do 100% on your own.  Below are the steps on how to make this happen.

1. Go to google.com/analytics and create an account.

2. Follow google's step by step instructions once you have created your google analytics account.  At the end of this step by step process they will give you a code to place on your website.

3. Copy/paste this code and email it to us at [email protected]

4. We will contact you after the code has been placed within your site code.

5. Wait a day or two to start seeing stats within your google analytics account.  If you do not see any stats after three days, please contact us.  This usually means we were provided with the wrong code.
