Here at RunnerSpace we have always been about personalizing your page to fit your needs.  Custom blocks are a tool that provides you with endless options to to create a unique looks or functions.  Let's show you how to use them and give you a few examples along the way.

The first step is to go to the bottom editor bar on your page and click on the Settings or Edit Profile button.  In this menu, select Custom Blocks.

This will take you to your custom blocks backend management page.  You will see a list of twenty different custom blocks.  You may place up to 20 custom blocks on your homepage.

Let's add a custom block!

1. Click on the Edit button next to the block you would like to work with.

2. Edit the Block title field with whatever text you would like at the top of this block.  Note: this text will appear on the top of your block when it appears on your homepage.

3. Below the Block title field, you will see a large text box.  Fill in this text box with whatever content you would like to be placed in the body of the custom block.  This area can use all of the options that are in the text editor, such as adding photos, tables, even smiley faces!  It essentially works much like MS Word.  Click here for more details on how to best use the text editor.

4. After you get done filling out your content, scroll down and click the Save Changes button.

5. You will now be brought to the layout backend management page.  Find the custom block that you just edited by looking through all of the titled blocks.  Simply click and drag the block to the location you would like it to reside on your homepage (click here to learn more about the profile layout management backend).

6. After you have placed your block, click the Save Changes button at the bottom.

You will now be brought to your homepage and now view your new custom block!  If you need to change your block, simply repeat the steps above.
