Being unable to update or change your Display Name is usually attributed to an account not being verified. Being verified is the last part of the registering process and can sometimes get overlooked. To reverify your account, follow these steps:

1. From the main menu bar, hover over your profile image and select Edit Account under Account Settings



2. Change your birthdate to something different. Don't worry, you can change this back at a later time. This will trigger the system to re-send the verification email.

3. Follow the instructions in the verification email and you will be all set to change your Display Name.
